ADAPTIVE ACTION SPORTS INC

To create and promote Action Sports camps, events and programs for youth and young adults living with permanent physical and mental disabilities. Action Sports, we believe, encourage individuality and creativity while building independence and self-confidence.

Adaptive Action Sports, Inc. (AAS) is an organization of permanently disabled athletes, who credit their active and independent lifestyles to their love of, and participation in, "board sports" (snow, skate and wakeboarding). Founded in 2005 by double amputee Amy Purdy and her partner Daniel Gale, AAS is a 501(c)(3) organization, registered in the State of California. AAS creates and promotes opportunities for individuals with permanent physical disabilities to participate in action sports, which have been largely neglected as rehabilitative tools for disabled individuals.
